Emac3326 podcast #2

Posted by emac3326 on September 21, 2006

I’ve uploaded the second podcast to the usual place. I play with Soundtrack Pro, mess with a few sounds (but not much), throw in a podsafe song, and for good measure include a car-cast dealing with interviewing. Sorry, gang, no stories about jail … but next week there is always my dinner and desert with ’80s film icon (and hot mama) Bo Derek. Probably only Cone and David and Kim know who I am talking about.

By the way, the file this time is .mp3, so it should be playable on mac and pc and on players other than an iPod.

Class Podcast.

Posted by emac3326 on September 14, 2006

Tonight we will listen to an ad hoc, experimental podcast that I will use in class. My plan is that while we listen to it we see GarageBand in action, iTunes, and can talk about the process. If anybody wants to download the file, it’s here.

By the way, since it was recorded by GarageBand the export is the .m4a, which can only be played via iTunes as it is an “enhanced” podcast. I forgot to convert to .mp3, which I will do for next week’s class.
